Communications Specialist (March 2024)
The Land Stewardship Project is seeking a Communications Specialist to collaboratively develop and execute engaging print and digital content, digital organizing tactics, and campaign level communications plans for both the Land Stewardship Project and its 501(c)4 political action organization, the Land Stewardship Action Fund. This role will contribute to the work of LSP by implementing communications strategies to help achieve LSP’s mission and meet organizational goals around base building, grassroots organizing, and farmer-to-farmer outreach. The person in this role should be familiar with grassroots organizing practices, be able to communicate effectively across differences, and understand the pluralism of rural communities.

Soil Health & Land Access Organizer (March 2024)
The Land Stewardship Project is seeking a Soil Health and Land Access organizer to join the Programs Department team. This person is a proven relationship builder, a deep listener, pivots in response to emerging needs, centers voices from underrepresented stakeholders, and perseveres despite obstacles. The Soil Health and Land Access organizer builds networks of small to mid-sized crop farmers, landowners, and partners in the region to facilitate equitable land access for beginning and emerging farmers. This includes building community through planning and hosting on-farm events and working with farmer-leaders to advocate for needed changes to policy and institutions.

Volunteer with LSP
LSP literally could not fulfill its mission without volunteers. Volunteers help us do everything from stuff envelopes and make telephone calls to enter data and set up logistics for meetings.
