LSP Policy & Organizing Program Open House & Cookout June 26 in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — The Land Stewardship Project’s (LSP) Policy and Organizing Program will hold its annual open house and cookout Thursday, June 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at 2919 East 42nd Street in Minneapolis. The public is welcome and LSP members are encouraged to bring friends, family and neighbors. For the cookout, LSP will provide cold beverages as well as brats and hamburgers produced by member-farmers. A vegetarian option will be available. Please bring a side dish to share, a lawn chair or blanket.
The event will also feature a quick update on LSP’s policy and organizing initiatives, including a presentation on issues the organization is currently working on, what is coming up, and how citizens can get involved. A silent auction featuring prizes from area businesses and handmade goods from members of the community will also he held.
