MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — The public is invited to a celebration of the opening of the Land Stewardship Project’s (LSP) new Twin Cities office on Friday, March 6, from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at 821 East 35th Street, Suite 200, Minneapolis, MN 55407. For directions, click here. For more information, contact LSP’s Mike McMahon at 612-722-6377 (ext. 1213) or mcmahon@landstewardshipproject.org.
After several years of maintaining two offices in the Twin Cities Metro Area, LSP has combined them into a central location. The public is invited to join LSP staff at this new location for an open house that will feature appetizers, beverages, a silent auction and a brief program about the organization’s current work related to promoting a sustainable, family farm-based food and farming system.
Founded in 1982, LSP focuses its work on three main program areas: Community Based Food Systems and Economic Development, Farm Beginnings®, and Policy and Organizing. Besides Minneapolis, LSP has offices in the Minnesota communities of Lewiston and Montevideo. LSP’s unique membership mix consists of farmers and non-farm rural residents, as well as urban and suburban citizens.
More information on LSP is available at www.landstewardshipproject.org.
