The Land Stewardship Project, along with Frogtown Neighborhood Association, Gardening Matters, Hope Community Inc., Neighborhoods Organizing for Change (NOC), and Nomi Roots, will be hosting another round of the Nourish Film Series this winter—a series of three film nights at three metro locations on Mondays January-March.
Are you curious about other community food projects in other cities across the country? Do you want to meet others who want to dive into discussion and share inspirations? We’ll be viewing food films and hosting a discussion about how we can impact our local food system and build community around food and health. There will be a potluck style meal —bring a dish to share.
All events are free and open to all. Families are encouraged to participate. Please connect with us to learn more. Contact Maryan Abdinur at 612-806-9845 or MAbdinur@landstewardshipproject.org.
The Feb. 20 film will be Edible City, which introduces a cast of San Francisco growers who are challenging the paradigm of our broken food system.
