Alex Romano

Alex lives in southeastern Minnesota and joined LSP’s Soil Health Team in July 2018. Alex organizes around farmer-to-farmer grazing education and racial, gender, and economic justice. Alex grew up in Osage, Iowa, and earned her degree in Anthropology and Indigenous Studies from Iowa State University. Prior to joining LSP’s staff, Alex served as an environmental educator in northern Minnesota at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center and in Minneapolis at Bdote Learning Center. Intermittently, Alex has worked on a handful of small-scale specialty crop farms in Minnesota and across Canada.
