James Kanne

James Kanne joined LSP’s policy team in January 2025. James owned and operated a dairy farm in Minnesota’s Renville County from 1978 to 2014. He has been a candidate for the Minnesota House as well as the Minnesota Senate, and over the years has testified numerous times before state legislative committees. James has served on numerous LSP policy committees, and has represented LSP during Congressional visits to Washington, D. C. His LSP organizing is focused on southwestern and west-central Minnesota.
