Megan Smith

Megan Smith joined LSP’s staff in 2011 after serving as a volunteer and intern in our Minneapolis office. Megan is inspired by building the people power needed to create transformational change in our farm and food system and by the commitment LSP members have for protecting people and the land. Before coming to work at LSP, Megan worked as a farm educator at Three Rivers Park District’s Gale Woods Farm. She has also worked at Seward Co-op and as a crew leader for an all-women landscaping company based in Minnetonka. Megan graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education and Leadership and Soil Science. In her spare time, you’ll find Megan baking, hiking, or gardening with her husband and two imaginative young kids (and wishing she had more spare time)!
