Pilar Ingram

Farm Beginnings organizer Pilar Ingram has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with minors in English and music, from City University of New York: Hunter College. Recently, Pilar has worked to lead facilitation for the Highlander Research and Education Center’s BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) Caucus. She collaboratively produced the “Elephant in the Room” series — virtual discussions about whiteness in a 21st century context. Pilar has also worked as a network coordinator and liaison for Movement in Faith and as an independent contractor managing logistics for retreats involving Black women executive directors. Pilar is enrolled in LSP’s current Farm Beginnings class and will be helping facilitate future courses.
