Scott Elkins

Scott Elkins joined LSP as executive director in 2023. The son and grandson of Texas cattle ranchers, Scott moved to Minnesota more than 30 years ago and lives in the Twin Cities.  Starting with his earliest work as a grassroots organizer, he has focused on movement building through a career that spans state and national leadership roles in a range of conservation organizations. He is passionate about building a world where people feel the joys and responsibilities of caring for one another and the planet we all call home.
