Seth Kuhl-Stennes
Operations Specialist, Operations Department
Phone: 612-722-6377
Seth Kuhl-Stennes joined LSP’s staff as an operations specialist in May 2024. In this position, he supports LSP’s day-to-day needs in the areas of facilities, technology, finance, and administration. Seth is the organization’s lead on IT and facilities project coordination. Prior to joining LSP’s team, he had worked for 15+ years in customer/client service and operations with Equal Exchange, Eastside Food Co-op, Home Depot, and Second Harvest Heartland. Seth has also gained organizational operations experience through board service and volunteerism with Eastside Food Co-op, Gardening Matters, and the Green Party of Minnesota. He was born and raised in the small northern Minnesota community of Baudette (Lake of the Woods County) and a passion for food and farming was instilled in him at an early age. Growing up, Seth’s family gardened in their backyard and occasionally visited his great-grandparents on their hobby/subsistence farm in western Wisconsin, which they operated for about 30 years in their retirement (they both lived into their 90s!). That passion for food and farming has spilled into Seth’s adult life as a longtime community and home gardener. In December 2010, Seth and his partner Megan purchased a home on a double lot in the East Phillips neighborhood of South Minneapolis where they live, garden, and raise chickens. In April 2015, they welcomed their kiddo Jonah to the world. In his spare time, Seth also enjoys skating and ice hockey, sledding, fishing, camping, hiking, and visiting America’s National Parks.
