Farm Beginnings offers trainings throughout the spring, summer, fall and winter. Farm Beginnings plays host to a variety of on-farm field days and farm tours throughout the region.

• Field Days: Field days cover a specific production topic on a farm. Members of the general public interested in farming (limited to 20 people) may attend for a $35 fee. Farm Beginnings participants and LSP members can participate in field days at no charge.

• Farm Tours: farm tours give a general overview of operations. LSP members and Farm Beginnings participants can attend farm tours at no charge; others will be charged a fee to cover expenses

• Winter Workshops: These workshops are held throughout the winter months and go in depth on specific topics related to the production, marketing, and financial aspects of farming.

These trainings are available to LSP members for free or a discounted rate. Field days, farm tours, and winter workshops are also available to the general public for a fee.
