LSP & Organizing for Change

Working to advance stewardship and justice on the land is a tall order. The Land Stewardship Project starts from values — like stewardship and justice — and then organizes people, resources, and ideas to build the power to make a difference.

We work at the local, state, and national levels to change corporate, governmental, and institutional policies and practices. We will fight to stop the worst — such as factory farm expansion and corporate control over food and agriculture. We will work just as hard to advance the best — such as public policy supporting stewardship of the land, family farms, and beginning farmers, as well as racial equity in our food and agriculture system.

Here’s something we’ve learned: While politics may be “the art of the possible,” it’s organizing that makes more possible. Come join us.
