Lewi Lunches are quarterly potluck gatherings held at LSP’s Lewiston office. These events provide an opportunity to build community, connect with fellow farmers, share experiences, and enjoy a meal together.
LSP provides the main dish, offering both meat and vegetarian options, and attendees are encouraged to bring a dish to share. Lewi Lunches are open to the public—welcoming both members and non‑members. Each gathering features a special topic or guest speaker, announced in advance.

July 2026: The July Lewi Lunch featured a presentation on virtual fencing and the possibilities for improving pastureland with this new tool.
April 2026: The April Lewi Lunch featured a 10- minute video screening and conversation with Harvey Benson and Bonita Underbakke, along with Aaron and Amy Bishop, about transitioning a farm from one generation to the next.
January 2026: A conversation with Cindy and Kelley of O’Neill Family Farm near Rushford, Minn. They shared aspects of their sheep operation, sustainable grazing practices, meat sales, and wool marketing strategy.
