Each year, Iowa’s organic community gathers to celebrate the growing organic movement in Iowa with presentations that highlight new and emerging issues within the organic industry. The annual meeting also features a uniquely-curated dinner and networking with presenters, exhibitors, and other Iowa Organic Association members.

This event, which is co-sponsored by the Land Stewardship Project, will feature presenters Jay Fuhrer and Jim Munsch.

Fuhrer is a retired North Dakota NRCS soil health expert. He will provide real life data on how healthy soil serves as a foundation for cropping systems, grazing systems, cover crops, wildlife, gardening, pollinators, insects, the soil food web, and quality of life.

Munsch Whole Farm Stewardship Planner and financial trainer, and he helps specialty crop and livestock farmers make data-driven decisions to improve profitability.
