• Partnership with Axdahl Farms, your local farm.
• Expanded time period to enjoy local produce. You’re not limited to just 18 weeks!
• Flexibility to get the quantities and varieties of produce that fit your needs and schedule. No set time or day to pick up a box!
• Ability to include flowering plants, veggies, herbs and more for your own personal gardens.
• Knowledge of where your food comes from.
• Ensuring the success of a local farm and the families we employ.
• Strengthening our local economy by keeping food dollars here.
• Sharing in the rewarding experience of being connected with your food, the land, and the farmer.
When you sign-up, you’ll receive a prepaid gift card good for everything we offer at our farm market in Stillwater, including our delicious seasonal produce. CSA members will also share in our bounties when we have extra sweet corn and/or other goodies.

Blackbrook Farm is a certified organic diversified family farm. We grow vegetables, herbs, and fruit for a 100-member CSA and local farm-to-table restaurants. We also raise pastured heritage-bred hogs, a small herd of Scottish Highland cattle and certified organic meat chickens! Our 140-acre farm is located 60 miles outside of the Twin Cities in Amery, Wis.
As organic farmers, our practices include using cover crops, green manures, crop rotations, and animal manures. We never use chemical fertilizers, fungicides or pesticides. We believe strongly in building our soils for the generations to come.
We offer a Customized CSA for both our Summer and Fall Shares. When you sign-up for a CSA with our farm, we will create a customized box based on your preferences. You will be able to view, change, swap and add products for others that are available. For example, don’t like eggplant? You can give it a low score and never see an eggplant in your box. Love carrots? You can swap more for a different crop you don’t want or also add-on more to your order.
We offer full- and half-share options to our members. Our boxes start in mid-June and run weekly or bi-weekly for 16 weeks. Our Fall Share is a 2- or 4-week share extension. We grow many crops, including everything from tomatoes and potatoes and fresh herbs to carrots, spinach, broccoli, strawberries, and sweet corn. We also offer a locally-grown and harvested Mushroom Share add-on and weekly pastured pork, organic chicken, and grass-fed beef, as well as local honey add-ons.
We deliver our CSA boxes on Thursdays to many Twin Cities and surrounding area locations, including Stillwater and western Wisconsin (you can find this information on our website under our CSA information) and also offer on-farm pickup. In addition to your produce, you will receive a weekly e-newsletter with updates from the farm, pictures, recipes, the contents of the box and what is to come the following week.

For 2021, we will be focusing once again on our Farmers’ Market CSA Shares. Like a traditional CSA share, our members pay ahead for their season’s vegetables. Unlike a traditional box share, instead of a pre-packed box, our members attend the farmers’ market when they choose, and take home only the vegetables that they choose. This works with a prepaid account with the farm which come in three amounts. With each level, our members receive an additional value to their share. If you do not attend the market any given week, then no value is lost on your account. To boot, any unused credit rolls over to the following season! Members receive a weekly newsletter with recipes, specials, and complimentary herbs.
We attend three markets in Minneapolis on Saturdays: Mill City Farmers’ Market (Downtown Minneapolis), Northeast Minneapolis Farmers’ Market, and the Midtown Farmers’ Market (South Minneapolis). On Sunday mornings, we attend the Saint Paul Farmers’ Market (Downtown Saint Paul). To see what we grow, when it is available, and our market price list, please visit the farm website.
Since 2006, Burning River Farm has been growing delicious, chemical free vegetables for our members and customers. With an extensive cover crop rotation, no plastic mulches, and no chemicals used, we grow your produce with your health and the health of the soil as a priority.
See you at the market!

Country Taste Farm CSA has been serving central Minnesota for 11 years. The fruits and vegetables we grow express our most basic values: to provide naturally grown, nutrient-rich, exceptionally tasty, environmentally-friendly foods.
Country Taste Farm uses Integrated Pest Management and SaniDate 5.0 produce Wash & Disinfectant. Most food-borne illnesses are caused by E. coli, listeria, and salmonella. SaniDate has been proven to reduce 99.9% of these pathogens. Produce is grown using plastic mulch for weed protection and drip irrigation. We have 4 high tunnels: high tunnels protect the plants from frost, hail, and cool weather to give a longer growing season. We continue to build our soil using a base of natural turkey fertilizer to increase soil organic matter and microbial activity. Then we add the missing elements to the soil to help us grow farm-fresh, nutritionally-dense, tasty fruits, and vegetables. We have 7 acres under cultivation.
2021 CSA membership includes 16-18 weeks from mid-June to October, choice of 2 sizes: ¼ Share (¼ bushel) and ½ Share (½ bushel). Farm pick-up Monday through Thursday, 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. Deliveries: Cambridge to Blaine, Tuesday 12 p.m.-2 p.m., (Hwy. 95-Hwy 10); Dalbo to Anoka, Thursday 12 p.m. – 2 p.m., (Hwy. 95-Hwy. 10). On-farm store open to public Wednesdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Some of the fruits and vegetables we provide include: apples, asparagus, beets, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, cucumbers, green beans, garlic, lettuce, melons, onions, pea pods, peppers (sweet and hot), potatoes, pumpkins, radishes, raspberries, strawberries, sweet corn, squash, tomatoes and zucchini.

Farm Farm CSA is a chemical-free produce farm that was founded in 2011. We provide shares to over 200 members from early June to the end of December. CSA is the backbone of our farm and our members receive the best produce that we grow. With over 1/5 of an acre of greenhouses and high tunnels, we are able to grow produce extra early and extra late in the season, resulting in each delivery having a great variety of high-quality produce.
Every effort is taken to ensure that our soils are well balanced with high fertility so your food is as nutrient-dense as possible. With only 2 acres in production, we rely on intensive and human scaled production techniques. In order to maintain high quality, biologically active soils, we employ no-till practices, compost is used to meet much of the fertility needs of the farm, and we never ever use chemicals!

Gale Woods Farm is owned and managed by Three Rivers Park District. It is a 410-acre park with the mission of demonstrating small-scale, productive, contemporary, sustainable agriculture and offering farming-related educational opportunities to school groups and the general public. The park includes gardens and orchards, an educational barn, pasture-raised beef cattle, pigs, sheep and chickens, several miles of hiking trails, canoeing, and fishing.
The CSA operation involves teenaged youth from surrounding communities in growing produce for the shares. In addition to learning about sustainable agriculture, they are given leadership-training opportunities and inspiration to create positive change in their communities. Produce is also provided to the Mound Westonka food shelf and STEP in Saint Louis Park.
The season runs for 18 weeks from mid-June to mid-October. Two share types are available. Traditional CSA Shares feed 3-4 and are picked up market-style at the farm on Tuesday afternoons. Pre-paid Farm Market Credits are available at the on-farm market stand on Saturday mornings, with the flexibility to buy the amounts you need when you need them. This market is also open for the general public to purchase produce.

Certified organic Fruit and Apple Shares!
Located southeast of Menomonie, Wis., our orchard was established in 2009 with an emphasis on regenerative land use and biodiversity, and has been certified organic since 2016. We are drawn to perennial agriculture as a means to sustain the land so that it may sustain our family and community. We are also fruit nerds, and get very excited about the amazing diversity of flavors, textures, and experiences that come from uncommon fruits and varieties.
This is our 5th season offering a fruit CSA. Our fruit share is a great option for an adventurous palate, and we provide tips, recipes, and fruit trivia throughout the season. We deliver to the Twin Cities on Saturdays (in southwest Minneapolis and the Selby/Dale area of Saint Paul), and in Menomonie on Tuesdays.
Choose from 2 options:
Full Fruit Share: 10 deliveries, July to October, includes currants, raspberries, blueberries, gooseberries, plums, pears, and a large selection of apples. Deliveries are every week in July, then every-other-week, August through October.
Apple Share: 4 deliveries, September to October. Minimum three varieties of apples in each box (usually more!), plus pears and fall raspberries when available.
Both shares offer the opportunity to purchase additional quantities of fruit at wholesale pricing for canning and preserving. We also offer fall meat shares of pastured hogs — members get priority for sign-up. Limited number of work shares available; please contact us for more information.

We are a family-run and female-operated farm committed to caring for the Earth, creating a vibrant local community, and developing the local economy. Our stewardship practices include growing vegetables free of chemicals using crop rotations, limited tillage, green manures, animal manure, and mulching. There are options for additional shares as well — fall shares in November and December, spring shares in April and May, and add-on boxes for processing vegetables throughout the main season. We offer a sliding scale fee to make fresh produce available to everyone. Pick-up is on Thursdays.

To that end, we raise pigs, chickens, flowers, and honeybees as well. We are also committed to leaving wild areas on our farm as habitat for native plants, pollinators, and other wildlife.
