Izaak Walton League of MN 2019 Watershed Summit

While Minnesota is a national leader in water resource protection, today's governance framework surrounding water management has become increasingly specialized and compartmentalized into a diverse array of technical disciplines. To tackle the complex issues facing our modern society, there is a need for a more holistic broad-based paradigm of planning and management that reflects the integrated and interdependent ecological relationships of our natural environment.

Please join us as we explore the need for a broader ecosystems approach to water management planning and implementation in Minnesota. Image
