The Land Stewardship Project’s Bridge to Soil Health Program will host an Online Pasture Talk on Tuesday, June 30, from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. This event will explore the best warm season cover crops that put on the highest daily gains and how to plan for next year’s cover crops. Minnesota graziers Rachelle and Jordan Meyer (Wholesome Family Farms) will talk about their experiences and observations following an overwintered cover crop mix of rye, turnips, radishes, and crimson clover with a warm season mix to be grazed, plus any questions they have for the group. Participants joining the call will be invited to share ideas and ask questions during the last half-hour, and LSP will provide helpful guidance for ways to interact in an online format.
