Farm to School Roadshow 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Note: The Farm to School Roadshow is optional and requires separate registration found here.
Head to Morris early and join the Land Stewardship Project, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, and the Minnesota Department of Education for a Farm to School Roadshow tour. We will have a presentation on Farm-to-Kids and a kitchen tour at University of Minnesota-Morris, followed by producer-buyer networking and matchmaking.
Time: 10 a.m. – noon
Place: Oyate Hall, 600 E. 4th St., Morris, MN
Following the Farm to School Roadshow, we will have a social hour with a light lunch for producer and buyer networking.

1:10 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.: Local Foods Panel
Highlights of Pride of the Prairie Farm to School work, and exploration of areas for collaboration
1:45 p.m. – 1:55 p.m.: Taking Action on Farm to Institution
2 p.m. – 2:50 p.m.: Breakout Session I
Attendees will be able to choose from one of the following:

- Climate Resiliency Planning and Innovations
- Farm to Kids
- Regional Food Coordinators
- Food Rx for Community Health
2:50 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Break
3 p.m. – 3:50 p.m.: Breakout Session II

Morris Community Meal
We encourage you to join us after the Food Forum to take part in the Morris Community Meal, starting at 5 p.m. and held at nearby Faith Lutheran Church (108 West 8th Street, Morris, about a mile-and-a-half from Oyate Hall).
The Morris Community Meal is held monthly and served free to anyone who wants to come. The meal uses local foods and sustainable practices as much as possible, and strives to share food from a variety of cultures. Gluten-free and vegan meals are always available. Anyone can get involved as a co-sponsor, volunteer, or attendee! If you’d like to volunteer for the Morris Community Meal, register through the University of Minnesota-Morris via this form.
