We wanted to make you aware of an opportunity Farm Aid is offering Minnesota farmers as the Land Stewardship Project and our allies prepare to welcome the group’s 40th Anniversary concert to Minneapolis on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Farm Aid is seeking farmers who would like to have their operations photographed in early August. These photos would be used to make up the video backdrop of the Farm Aid festival stage at Huntington Bank Stadium. Additionally, they could be used on Farm Aid’s website and social media to illustrate the challenges and opportunities that farmers have. (They will not be used commercially.) In exchange, each participating farm receives high resolution files of the photos for their own use (approximately 50 photos, delivered to participating farmers within one week, free of charge).
Minnesota-based documentary photographer Scott Streble is donating his time and talent to this project. Scott is planning his farm photography trip around the state of Minnesota for the first week of August. Each session takes approximately two hours. Depending on the number of farmers interested, Scott may not be able to photograph everyone who signs up, but he’ll try his best. Click on the link below to sign-up for this opportunity.
