Institutionalize commitment and processes to prioritize land access and ownership for Next Generation Farmers in addition to land recovery for Native Tribes.
How We Do it:
Create a value-aligned off-ramp for retiring farmers and landowners to transition farmland to Next Generation Farmers as well as return it to Native Tribes.
How We Do It:
Build on-ramps for emerging farmers via access to technical assistance and support for business and financial planning, increasing the farm workforce, creating alternative paths, and launching wealth building programs.
How We Do It:
Win reforms to federal policies that lower the barriers for Next Generation Farmers to access credit and federal programs.
