Eric and Appy are seeking 20 acres of certified organic land and a house in Wisconsin to lease or purchase. These regenerative farmers and looking for a long-term stewardship 0pportunity.  They are experienced regenerative farmers with a deep commitment to holistic land stewardship. With backgrounds in holistic grazing, mycology, permaculture, and sustainable agriculture, they have spent the last decade working to restore soil health, enhance biodiversity, and cultivate systems that nurture both the land and community.  They offer holistic grazing & livestock management utilizing sheep as regenerative tools to improve pastures, sequester carbon, and enhance soil fertility.  Appy and Eric have agroforestry & perennial systems experience with integrating trees, livestock, and soil-building crops in productive harmony.  They have mycology & s0il regeneration expertise in fungal-based soil remediation, organic mushroom cultivation, and increasing organic matter through small-scale, sustainable production. They are committed to ethical, ecological food systems and are actively working on fiber and medicinal crop enterprises. Through their business & market knowledge they successfully launched and operated multiple sustainable agriculture ventures, including direct-to-consumer marketplaces and grant-funded projects. Eric and Appy are looking for land to lease or purchase, a place where we can apply our regenerative approach to livestock integration, ecological restoration, and small-scale diversified production. They are interested in working with landowners who share our belief that true stewardship is an act of reciprocity giving back to the land as much as it gives to us. Ideal land criteria: pasture-based or partially wooded land suitable for rotational grazing. Water access and good fencing (or potential to install). Located in a community open to regenerative agricultural projects. Flexible lease terms or a sale arrangement that prioritizes keeping the land in sustainable production. If you are a landowner who values holistic grazing, soil regeneration, and the sacred relationship between land and its stewards, Eric and Appy would love to connect.

Anne on behalf of the Land Conservation Natural Burial Association is seeking to conserve/restore a minimum of 20 acres. But if the land directly touches other protected land, the minimum is much lower: just 5 acres (though more is welcome!). If you have a much larger parcel of land that you would like to conserve, a natural burial area could be established on a small portion of that land. We have no restrictions on the history of the land. We are seeking land on which to establish a natural burial area/cemetery that could be protected by an established conservation organization through a specially crafted conservation easement. Land could include pre-existing historic burial area. We seek land with potential conservation value that is not already enrolled in a permanent land protection program. Land that is: -Located within a reasonable drive from the Twin Cities -Relatively dry soil that is not too rocky -Mostly flat topography (ie, the bulk of the acres are not steeper than a 15% grade)

Farmland for Sale: Minnesota

In the southwest part of Luverne, MN there is a parcel of land that measures 1.15 acres. The land at one time was a sheep pasture, with the south boundary having the original fence. It was mowed in the late 70's to look nice and neat as people would drive into the west end of Luverne on County Road 4. In the early 80's it was planted into an orchard for a son. This was his 4-H project of different fruits. There were at least 13 varieties of apples, 2 varieties of pears, 2 varieties of tart cherry, apricots, plums, grapes, raspberries and strawberries. This fruit was sold at Luverne Flowers in a special cooler for fruit, then at the local Farmers Markets and donated to the Rock County Food Shelf. As time moved on, so did the age of trees and people. The son moved on to a career and parents were finding other things to keep them busy. Older poor-quality trees were removed and became fire wood. At one point there was a clearing that could accommodate the vines of watermelon, cantaloupe and squash. Now the time has come for new hands to work the land to make it productive. There are 6 apple trees remaining, each a different variety, 3 curly willow clumps and a strawberry bed about 9 ft X 50 ft.  There is also a 60 ft X 30 ft Gothic Greenhouse with a double poly covering.  There is no housing.  Price:  $30,000 available immediately.
