On Saturday, April 13, the Greater Minnesota Resiliency Network will host “Shaping Our Future: A Timely Conversation” community visioning event to explore the question, “What could a resilient community look like 20 years from now?” Everyone is invited to attend this free event. Throughout the day, participants will have opportunities to dream, connect, and celebrate the future they want for their community.
Participants can share their ideas for projects they would like to see happen in community and connect with other people who share their vision. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Good Counsel Hill. The day will include a guided visualization activity, an introduction to Open Space Technology, discussions, a tasty lunch, and action and prioritization for community ideas and projects. The hosted and facilitated process will be using Open Space Technology and will be led by Katie Boone.
Broad public participation in this event will help create an inclusive, diverse and vibrant vision for our community. Participants need to RSVP to help the planning team prepare for the day’s activities. To reserve your seat for this event, visit www.tinyurl.com/ShapeMNFuture.
Greater Minnesota Resiliency Network is linking and connecting people, ideas, projects, and efforts across greater Minnesota that are focused on building resiliency within our people, places and practices.
